Unyson Heroes

February 2019 Hero:
Amanda McMullen

Amanda has been with the company for three years as a Senior Logistics Coordinator. She has worked on multiple retail accounts within the company. Her current role I bulk planning and manually consolidating loads to find savings. Amanda works directly with the customers and their vendors to ensure freight is moved on time and in the best manner possible.

Amanda graduated from Fontbonne University with a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition.

“Unyson has helped me grow in an industry I previously had no experience in. The company has enabled me to gain an understanding of the transportation industry by continually giving me opportunities to expand my knowledge and use the attributes I previously possessed.”

“I enjoy the teamwork and collaboration within the company. It makes Unyson a pleasant place to work and provides opportunities for co-workers to get to know each other.”

“Amanda is a team player who adds value to any account she is on. She strives to go above and beyond what is asked of her and is always willing to help others. She is an OTM super user chosen based on her superior skills within the OTM system. Some of her accomplishments include a successful transition to the Lowes account in the middle of onboarding organic growth. She was vital in setting up dedicated TL moves which improved customer service, increased on-time pickups, and increased margin.”
